This place is awsome. Very dog friendly. As a matter of fact when we sat down outside they immediately brought bacon for our lil girl and showed us where the water was for the dogs. Service was great. So friendly. We had huevos rancheros which was good. The biscuits and gravy was the best. The biscuits was buttery and fluffy and the gravy wasn't overly peppered like a lot of places do sometimes. Pancake was great too. Over all we really likes this place. We will definitely come back.

We just moved into the neighborhood and Susie's was the first place recommended by the neighbors. It lived up to its reputation. Excellent breakfast. I highly recommend the cheese omelette and the pancakes are to die for. Haven't had lunch yet

I noticed that all the "good" reviews for Susie's Westside Cafe are related to their breakfast items and maybe that's what they do best, but two times running now we have tried lunch items (dine-in & take-out) and the food is nothing to shout about, and some of it is downright tasteless or overcooked. Such as my burger today; two patties very overcooked to the point of almost being inedible and no seasoning whatsoever. OK, I've given up on the cheeseburger - it's just awful, could only get down half of it. And hubs' French dip is OK with some gristle here and there, but the dip was too salty to eat. Previously we had a ham and cheese sandwich and a reuben, both of which were just bland... This is all so unfortunate, as we live just down the street from Susie's and are desperately seeking a GO TO place for a tasty, quick burger or sandwich for lunch. I think this restaurant suffers, as many do, with way too many items on the menu. In fact, there are so many items ANYONE will need glasses to read the small print on the take-out menu! This is a common restaurant syndrome of doing a lot bad, nothing great. Trim down that menu, Susie's, and concentrate on how to cook GREAT food! Maybe some cooking lessons would help and definitely a trip to the "Savory Spice Shop!" Oh well, we will keep searching..... May try their breakfast one morning, but probably not. I know of too many other great places for breakfast in town.

Very friendly staff. It is definitely on the smaller side, so expect it to be packed. It may take some time on your food depending on how busy it is, but the environment is nice and homey. I'm not terribly big on breakfast food, but they serve their lunch menu at any time luckily. I feel like it's a tiny bit pricey, but when compared to other diners in the springs not so much. Its a nice little quaint place.

Ok food for a small family run place. Service was friendly and fast. Close to bear creek dig park but no place for my dog?

Came over at recommendation of the Broadmoor staff to watch the sunrise. Early Sunday morning. Day just getting started so place was not very full. Service and food great. Recommend Huevos rancheros. Lots of regulars coming and going. Nice homely place!

I came to eat here for breakfast with some friends. I was NOT impressed by the attitude of the staff. Our waitress was very short and brusk. She seemed annoyed to have us. That already turned me off...so even if they may have had the best breakfast in town I may have given them two stars for it. Well, it was not the case. Their food was just average. I paid over $6 for an english muffin with cheese and ham. I asked if I could substitute the egg for something else...I was answered: 'yeah, a slice of tomato maybe'. O.o nice going. I don't think I'll be back soon!

Fantastic breakfast, fantastic wait staff, fantastic location, but not so fantastic seating. Very limited space and felt rushed out on sunday morning. Go during the week so you can enjoy the great food, conversation with wait staff and views of mountains and down town.

Good service. Quaint with bottomless coffee and good breakfast burritos with green chilli sauce.

Great home cooking Best breakfast burrito EVER -- ground sausage and green chile

This is a rather small two-person run diner sort of hidden on the southwest side of town. The service was friendly, and I liked the non-chain-feel of the place. Pretty basic breakfast menu, but the items are served up fresh and on-par with what I can prepare at home. Overall, not a place I would probably drive miles to patronize, but if in the area, and needing a decent bite for breakfast this place will do.

Great service, great tasting food! Mom and pop type of cozy restaurant just around the corner from Bear Creek Nature Center. Stopped here because it looked cozy and warm - we were not disappointed. Nothing surprising on the menu, just good tasting food! Can't wait to go back for breakfast!

Who doesn't love the neighborhood mom and pops breakfast joint? The staff are friendly and the food feels like home. The mister orders the kitchen sink omelet, and he raves about it. I enjoy their blueberry pancakes and their coffee....which they never stop filling. You have to hover over the cup and tell them nooooooo! Lol. If you want a hearty breakfast....eat here.
